Fenders survey

Fenders survey

Pyramids’ surveyor inspects the fenders to ensure they are in good working condition and able to effectively absorb impact forces, and that can be applied through several aspects such as visual inspection, material and construction evaluation, mounting & attachment, and performance testing. Finally, the findings from this Survey are documented in a comprehensive report, which includes observations, recommendations for repairs or replacements, and an assessment of the fender’s effectiveness and compliance with industry standards.

The fenders inspections must be carry out before and after the vessels berthing in order to ascertain the fenders condition with supported photos.

Underwater Hull Survey

Underwater Hull Survey

Qualified marine surveyor or diver performs an inspection of the submerged portions of the vessel’s hull. This inspection includes visually examining the hull for any visible damages, cracks, or deformities. The surveyor may also use non-destructive testing methods, such as ultrasonic thickness gauging, the survey may also encompass other underwater inspection activities. For example, it may include assessing the condition of propellers, sea chests, sea valves, anodes, and other submerged equipment or components. The surveyor will inspect these elements for any signs of damage, fouling, or corrosion that could affect the vessel’s performance or safety.

Our staff surveyors attend during the underwater inspection and following the results by using monitor which located on deck.

Pollution inspection2

Pollution inspection

For protecting the marine environment, we must minimize the risk of pollution incidents, and promote sustainable practices. That will help to identify and rectify non-compliance issues, ensure adherence to environmental regulations, and raise awareness of environmental responsibilities within the shipping industry, so our surveyors examine pollution control equipment, waste management procedures, fuel and emission compliance, ballast water management, and spill response readiness.

In case the pollution occurred we must attend on board the vessel in due course in order to take the necessary actions and ascartaind the cause of pollutions

Ship Cranes inspections

Ship Cranes inspections

These inspections are crucial for ensuring the efficient and secure operation of the cranes during cargo handling operations, Pyramids inspector examines various components of the crane system.

The inspection typically includes structural Integrity, mechanical systems, electrical systems, safety features , testing the SWL and certification & documentation.

H M Survey

H & M Survey

It’s survey of the hull and machinery of the vessel and it’s crucial to owners, operators, and especially insurance companies to determine the vessel’s risk profile and premium rates, so this survey is not for one time, it’s periodic depending on the vessel’s age, type, and class requirements, these requirements may be significant for events, such as accidents, groundings, or major repairs, to verify the vessel’s condition and safety after the incident.

P I Survey

P & I Survey

Our surveyor conducts inspections and evaluations of various aspects, including safety, crew welfare, pollution prevention, risk management, and claims management to identify potential risks, ensure compliance with insurance requirements, and provide guidance to ship owners and operators on risk management and loss prevention measures.

Cargo Tally Survey

Cargo Tally Survey

By using manual tallying methods or electronic equipment, such as barcode scanners or RFID technology, to accurately track and tally the cargo, our surveyor carefully counts and records the individual units or packages of the cargo as they are loaded or discharged from the ship.

Bunker Survey

Bunker Survey

Quantification of bunker Fuel oil & Diesel oil on board the vessels at time of On Hire , Off Hire, Bunker supplied or bunker at survey time.

That plays a crucial role in monitoring fuel consumption, ensuring efficient fuel management, and preventing fuel-related disputes or discrepancies. Pyramids’ inspector uses suitable measuring equipment, including sounding tapes, electronic devices, or ultrasonic devices, to take fuel soundings. Additionally, the surveyor considers factors such as temperature and density to accurately calculate the volume and mass of the fuel stored in the ship’s tanks

OFF-HIRE ON-HIRE CONDITION SURVEYS

OFF-HIRE / ON-HIRE CONDITION SURVEYS

On-Hire : When a vessel is being hired (chartered) by a charterer for a specific period, this vessel is in need to pyramids’ surveyors to identify its condition including the vessel’s hull, cranes, deck equipment, cargo spaces, and other relevant areas. They document the vessel’s condition through written reports, photographs, and sometimes video recordings. The surveyor checks for damages, signs of wear and tear, structural integrity, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Off – Hire: When the vessel complete the hire time, this vessel is in need to pyramids’ surveyors to attend on board in order to inspect all items which had mentioned at the On Hire survey and make sure the vessel re delivery to his Owner in same condition .
